OK, this is a post for girls. Guys, you may want to skip this one, although it is interesting.

Girls (women) you are familiar with the choices out there for your monthly period. Tampons, and pads, right? Tampons can be uncomfortable, and can give you toxic shock syndrome. Pads can be bulky, may leak, are big to carry around, and never stay where they’re supposed to be. Both of them are expensive, especially in out of the way places (like 3rd world countries or on emergency stops at rural gas stations). They have a bunch of packaging and even the products themselves are full of plastic and paper which can’t be recycled. That’s also not good for your skin, and without good airflow can cause yeast infections, odor, and other undesirable effects. What’s a girl to do?

Several years ago, I discovered Goddess Moons. They have several benefits: reusable, inexpensive (the one-time cost of the product is much less that what you would spend on pads or tampons in a year, and Goddess Moons last about ten years), better for your skin, better for the environment.
