J.A.S.O.N. Aloe Vera 98%, Moisturizing Gel
By Leighann on Apr 11, 2008 in Beautiful, Green Stuff
This is a product I picked up at one of the free stores in the Gulf Islands in British Columbia. My husband has been using it more than me, but in the last couple days my regular lotion ran out. I’m usually not too crazy about aloe vera gel. It’s nice for sunburn, but it usually goes on sticky or heavy. Not this product! It gives instant moisture to my skin as soon as I apply it, feeling like a refreshing, cool glass of water for your skin. You have to rub it in good and let it dry. It feels sticky for just a moment, but dries, leaving your hands soft and deeply moisturized.
My ultimate test for lotions and moisturizers are the garden. My hands get very dirty and rough out there, and I need a good lotion to replace the moisture that has been ripped out. JASON passed this test, and made my hands feel great. I’ve also used it on my face and I like that as well. Best of all, like all JASON products, it uses natural products, including organic aloe vera gel, and is not tested on animals.
Hi!
I found your website through your post on the Secular Yahoo Homeschooling group. Just wanted you to know that I share in your lifestyle. WWOOFing sounds so interesting! I try to live a green, organic way of life as much as possible. It’s very hard to do this in the US when you have the big food corp. undermining your way of life. Anyway, just wanted you to know that J.A.S.O.N is not a really reputable company. There are a lot of greenwashing these days and you should check out http://www.organicconsumers.org/ to find better companies to support.

Ah, this is a REALLY old post.
I don’t know anything about the company, I just liked the product itself. Got it at the free store. ;-P
