Doubt Official Movie Trailer 2008

Doubt Official Movie Trailer 2008 – I can’t wait to see this one. I really like Meryl Streep, and she seems great in this role.  It appears to be about a school/church at the turn of the century, and the headmistress who is unable to accept change, volleying against a priest who is all about change.

  1. this is a great movie! it shows you EXACTLY why we have overcome so little in last ~400 years, and so much in just last like what .. 20years?? Maryl role shows you how simple it was to stop the progress (in the name of God) and kept going in a circle of darkness. Just imagine where would we be right now humanly and tech developed if they would stop that GOD, CHURCH and RELIGIOUS circous lets say 100 years ago! amazing!

  4. i just watched this. it is a great movie. i hit the message boards on imdb right away. there are so many scenarios or possibilities of what could be the actual truth. i changed my mind probably 20 times on who to believe. i wanted to believe philip seymour hoffman first off because i always want to believe that someone who seems nice could commit a heinous crime. but most of all, meryl streep’s character is up there with the nurse ratched in my all time biggest bitches in a movie list.

  7. Penn and Rourke are neck and neck, but with Prop 8 and what happened with Brokeback Mountain and everything, the Academy is most likely going to want to keep their reputation as liberal and will have a hard job convincing everybody of such if they don’t give Milk Oscars.

Kate should be best actress. She really does deserve it and is awesome, but I agree with Penelope.

  8. I am also rooting for Sean Penn, but definitely Rourke will be what would be seen as the strongest….

Penelope Cruz is definitely on for best supporting actress

  11. This year is a hard batch!

Kate Winslet’s performance in The Reader was riveting, then Anne Hathaway was also a good contender, Streep was as usual, astounding, Jolie…didn’t appreciate it, and Leo was also good
