Farside Reenactments

For years, I have been a fan of Gary Larson’s The Far Side.  If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a comic strip that explores the little oddities of life, and the way we say things, using cows, chickens, insects, headhunters, fat women with beehive hairdos and hornrimmed glasses, and buck-toothed, freckled kids.  It’s usually bizarre, sometimes thought provoking, and always very, very funny.  Even as a kid, when I didn’t quite get it, I would look at the goofy pictures with my mom and cousin, and crack up just because they were laughing.  Now I love the off the wall, dry humor of them.  I’ve even got my son interested in it.

Well, some very creative people have been making their photographic re-enactments of various Far Side comic strips, and they’re quite funny.  Check it out here:
