50 Things To Do With 50 Pounds Of Potatoes
By Leighann on Oct 25, 2009 in Vegetarian Cooking, What's Cooking?

It's a potato invasion! How can I make them disappear?
I recently bought a 25 kilo bag of potatoes in France for about 3 Euros. That’s about 50 pounds for about $4.50 US. Really, really cheap (yay, Leader Price!)
So now I have 50 pounds of potatoes, and not a lot of other stuff (it’s been a rough couple of months). What can you make with potatoes, butter, sour cream, herbs and spices, bacon, flour, sugar, oil, eggs, tomatoes, a bit of chicken stock and not much else? Well, as it turns out, quite a bit.
Here’s a list…I’ll be writing out the recipes and posting a few every day.
